Why choose us?

We proudly offer an open door to the sport of skydiving. Our incredibly talented staff and instructors take pride in sharing their love of skydiving and can tailor your experience to fit your needs. We are the only privately owned skydiving training center in the East TN area. Additionally, the ONLY DZ (Drop Zone) that has a fully renovated building with spectator viewing areas for your guests, video viewing area, training room, climate-controlled building with padded pack room, restrooms with a shower, camping, and free wifi

Our commitment to safety is well established in the skydiving community. Skydiving is largely self-regulated and for this reason, we recommend you ALWAYS jump at a facility that is USPA (United States Parachute Association) rated. We encourage you to jump into facilities that put safety over profits. We are committed to preserving your safety above all else. Many drop zones focus primarily on high volumes of tandems.

They advertise the ‘lowest prices’ while stating they do ‘hundreds of thousands’ of tandems a year. We like to get to know you before your first time. The experience at SET is unparalleled because it’s a small locally owned business on private property with a skydive family almost too excited to welcome you to the incredible world of skydiving.

Our prices reflect the time and care we put into the quality and safety of each and every skydivers experience. Our aircraft and parachute equipment is properly maintained for full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.

SET is unique in that.. we own our airport! Our commitment is to build and maintain a skydiving facility that provides our clients with an abundance of value for their investment of time and money.

HAVE UP FRONT PRICING, other places do NOT! Our prices include everything you need to jump and all jumps are from approximately 11,000 feet above the ground. All fees and add-ons are up front, no hidden costs.

Ya Get What Ya Pay For. With some competitors a $150-$170 jump sounds like a great deal. Especially if it includes video. However you arrive to find that it’s half of our freefall time, weekdays only, and the video is only an upload to YouTube. You would have to pay extra for photos, and spend extra in gas to get there and back.  Don’t let the hidden fees and unplanned expenses cause disapointment in your experience.

We have found through research that with some of our competitors you actually end up paying significantly MORE than with Skydive East TN!
